Advocates for Mental Health is a Christian Non-Profit operating out of Shreveport, Louisiana. Here at Advocates, our goal is to help and serve those “who fall through the cracks” of our social services safety net. We wish to extend aid to those who do not quite check all the necessary boxes, and those who lack the time or ability to navigate the labyrinthine systems of government social-safety nets.

We particularly focus on serving the needs of our veterans and the homeless—two populations with significant overlap. Our broader mission seeks to educate the public about mental illness, homelessness, poverty, and their causes.
